Business Resident Booking Guidelines

The Creators' Lab at Visionary Studios

At Visionary Studios, The Creators' Lab was built to foster creativity, collaboration, and opportunity for our business residents and broader creative community. As usage of the space continues to grow, we are implementing updated booking guidelines to ensure the space remains sustainable, accessible, and aligned with the long-term business goals of both Visionary Studios and The Creators' Lab.

These guidelines are intended to create healthy operational boundaries while still supporting collaboration, creativity, and community engagement.

Purpose of the Space

The Creators' Lab is a shared flex space designed for:

• Creative productions

• Community-centered events

• Brand activations

• Workshops and experiences

• Collaborative content creation

• Revenue-generating bookings for Visionary Studios

While business residents are encouraged to utilize the space, access is not intended to function as unlimited or open-ended usage.

Resident Usage Structure

Effective immediately, business residents will have access to the following complimentary usage allotment each calendar month:

Included Monthly Usage

• One (1) Content Shoot Booking

  • Includes podcast recordings, photoshoots, interviews, creative content production, etc.

  • Maximum duration: 4 hours

• One (1) Event Booking

  • Includes mixers, workshops, panels, activations, networking events, listening sessions, etc.

  • Maximum duration: 4 hours

Additional Usage

Any bookings beyond the monthly included allotment will be subject to:

• Standard rental rates

• Availability approval

• Operational review by management

Additional usage is not guaranteed and must be formally requested and approved in advance.

Booking Approval Process

To maintain scheduling integrity and operational flow:

• All usage must be requested in advance

• A calendar invite or written confirmation from management is required for a booking to be considered approved

• Dates are not held without confirmed usage details and approval

• Same-day or next-day extension requests may be denied based on availability and operational capacity

Client & Commercial Use

Business residents may use The Creators Lab for client-facing work; however:

• Commercial bookings involving external clients must still be disclosed during the booking request

• Resident usage should not replace or bypass standard studio rental structures

• Visionary Studios reserves the right to convert certain commercial usages into paid bookings when appropriate

Operational Expectations

To ensure fairness and sustainability for all residents and staff:

• Residents are expected to respect booking start and end times

• Setup and breakdown time must be included within the reservation window

• Space must be returned in clean and reset condition

• Excessive, recurring, or unapproved usage may result in restricted booking privileges

Community & Sustainability

The goal of these guidelines is not to limit collaboration, but to create a balanced system that:

• Supports resident creativity

• Protects business operations

• Preserves booking opportunities

• Maintains long-term sustainability for The Creators Lab and Visionary Studios
